Laguna urgent care took care of me so well when I came down with an illness during my trip! The wait wasn’t long at all and everyone here at the front desk, nurses and doctors are very knowledgeable and empathetic. They really respect patients and the price is reasonable. They sent my prescription for antibiotics over to Bushard’s and everything felt easy. Would highly recommend and come back if I’m in town in the future!

Took my friend's son here from out of the country. Her little boy unfortunately got second degree burns from hot coffee on their plane ride over. He was rushed to an emergency hospital in LA where he was treated, but something still did not feel right. We met the kind doctor here a few days later and he immediately took the right steps to fix the burn. He also let us know that the original wrapping from the hospital had not been done correctly. Later, when my friend returned home, the children's hospital there confirmed that he had given all the correct treatment and wrapped everything perfectly. Thank God we went to see him, because the burn would not have healed as well without his care. He has wonderful bedside manner, is amazing with kids, and genuinely cares for his patients. Excellent urgent care facility. Have used it multiple times for myself and family members.  Always get first class service. My wife and I trust the staff and doctors. Had to visit today to have a wound stitched up. The on call doctor Thurston and the tech took care of the gash in short order and thought my half hearted steristrip idea was very funny. 10 sutures later, I was properly put back together. I was visiting Laguna for the summer when an unexpected health issue came up, and I’m so glad I found this urgent care. They saw me right away and made the whole process seamless. Dr. Nissanka was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, and the nurse was also amazing—both made me feel comfortable and well cared for. What impressed me most was that they didn’t just treat me in the moment, but continued to follow up with me throughout the week to make sure I was doing okay. Modern, authentic and straightforward medical appointment.  First time for me.  I met both Dr. Nissanka and Dr. Thurston today.  Labor Day weekend, Saturday about 4 PM for an ear infection I couldn't seem to shake.... I knew I needed to see a doctor or run the risk of a deeper infection.  Long story, short, I saw Dr. Thurston, which was a great experience...she prescribed me a prescription that I went to get, but unfortunately CVS dropped the ball and didn't fulfill it.  Then closed their doors.  I was so disappointed.  I called in after hours and Dr. Nissanka personally drove back to the medical office and fulfilled my prescription... he was 30 minutes away and mind you this was a Saturday evening.  They are the real deal and I'm personally extremely satisfied with my experience here.  They cared...even for a first time patient.   Don't hesitate to go here.

My son and I are in Laguna Beach for vacation and I felt like I was getting sick and in the middle of the night it took a horrible turn.  We went to Laguna Beach Urgent Care which was so close and convenient.  Very professional staff, the nurse made me feel better right away by saying they would get me all fixed up. When the NP came in she was very nice and performed all of the tests I hoped she would,  it was very apparent she was excellent at what she does, so that gave peace of mind. She wrote my prescriptions to Bushards pharmacy a few minutes walk and that was an exceptionally great experience also! I visited Laguna Urgent Care and saw Dr. Nissanka who is a wonderful physician. I received great care from him and appreciated the Concierge level of care I received. Dr. Nissanka was awesome.  I wasn't feeling good all week and he took great care, got the right prescriptions and I was singing at my concert within the next day.  Amazing job, super friendly, and what a convenience right here in downtown Laguna Beach. I also found out they do IV therapy too, I'll be coming back soon. The team at Laguna Urgent Care are truly amazing.  My family and I recently moved to Laguna Beach from Scottsdale AZ,  where all the Urgent Cares are some major corporations that have a lack of legitimacy and rarely have a doctor on site. We have had visit Laguna Urgent Care 3 times so far, once for my 8 yr old son,  once for my wife, and then myself. The entire staff is so polite,  you are seen by the nurses and actual Doctors quickly.  All very knowledgeable and truly take the time to help. This place is phenomenal. They are kind, helpful, and know what they are doing. I went in with a dog bite thinking the dog didn't cost me an arm and a leg, but this place certainly would. I don’t visit the doctor very often but I’ve seen my share of doctors working in the medical field and taking my mother to tons doctor visits and I can honestly say that  Dr. Nissanka deeply care about his patients and his profound skill in properly diagnosis is a true blessing. My 85 year old mother in law received a few skin tears on her lower leg. We were here on vacation. They were  large and several. Stopped in here for her care. Wow! Very impressive skilled caregivers. Not only the best urgent care, I have been to, but also the BEST Doctor!! He genuinely cares about his patients and diagnosing them properly! All of the tests I needed, he could do in the office with little wait time- so, I didn't have to wait days for results!! The office is very clean, feels homey and his staff is warm and welcoming! Local to Laguna, I required immediate care and visited Laguna Urgent Care. Quality of the site itself is excellent, the care upon entrance (greeting) to the doctor listening, good discussion to cover history before talking to me about the prescribed care showed immense consideration toward the patient. Five stars is not high enough of a rating for Laguna Urgent Care. I would give it many more. The facility impressed me in so many ways. I was suffering from a rebound migraine, and decided to get care there. I walked into a clean, bright and modern reception area where I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. In no time I was checked in, evaluated and treated. Dr. Nissanka was professional, warm and caring. We had an excellent experience at this urgent care. Located on Broadway in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach, this location had convenient parking in the lot and some metered street parking. We were seen quickly on a weekend afternoon, diagnosed, tested and provided a prescription. Compared to others that we've been to, this seems to be a real urgent care with comprehensive on-site testing and a doctor--not just a physician's assistant--running things. Wow I can't say enough about the amazing care I was given h. I'm visiting from out of town and all of a sudden needed a doctor so looked for an urgent care near us and went here. So clumsy me butchers my thumb while prepping dinner today. My husband was just going to take me to the closest urgent care to our house, but I knew they only have physician assistants and nurse practitioners there and not MDs. Being that it was a deep cut, I really wanted to see a physician and not just a PA/NP. Thank goodness we found Laguna Urgent Care who only has MDs practicing there. Once there, we were immediately greeted by Dr. Nissanka. He was prompt, friendly and thorough. He really took the time to assess the wound, clean it, and surgically glue it, which I was relived because I didn't want scarring from sutures. Besides have an actual doctor as the provider, the clinic was bright, clean and modern. I'll definitely make this my new go to urgent care!
